I received many messages treating me of snob or rich kid. Well, that's totally the truth, so what can I say? Yeah, I rely on appearance and wealth. And I don't accept anyone in my friends ! Yeah, I'm rich. I don't need to work, 'caus my parents have a big entreprise that brings them a looooot of money and I'll become the future boss. Mother fucker. Yeah, I take people high. But I know what I worth, so I have the right to do it. So if you feel able to continue, go ahead, tryto conquer me !
I'm actually reading a very nice book, and I thought it might be fun to write an article about it! It's Nicholas Sparks "the lucky one". If you're interested, here's the synopsis :
When U.S. Marine Logan Thibault finds a photograph of a smiling young woman half-buried in the dirt during his third tour of duty in Iraq, his first instinct is to toss it aside. Instead, he brings it back to the base for someone to claim, but when no one does, he finds himself always carrying the photo in his pocket. Soon Thibault experiences a sudden streak of luck—winning poker games and even surviving deadly combat that kills two of his closest buddies. Only his best friend, Victor, seems to have an explanation for his good fortune: the photograph—his lucky charm.
Back home in Colorado, Thibault can't seem to get the photo—and the woman in it—out of his mind. Believing that she somehow holds the key to his destiny, he sets out on a journey across the country to find her, never expecting the strong but vulnerable woman he encounters in Hampton, North Carolina—Elizabeth, a divorced mother with a young son—to be the girl he's been waiting his whole life to meet. Caught off guard by the attraction he feels, Thibault keeps the story of the photo, and his luck, a secret. As he and Elizabeth embark upon a passionate and all-consuming love affair, the secret he is keeping will soon threaten to tear them apart—destroying not only their love, but also their lives.
Filled with tender romance and terrific suspense, The Lucky One is Nicholas Sparks at his best—an unforgettable story about the surprising paths our lives often take and the power of fate to guide us to true and everlasting love.
I even saw that there was a movie adapted from the book starring Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling! I'll end up this article with a nice quote I read in that book : "Sometimes a little thing can change your life in case something happens by chance when you least expect it and you take a course that you had never planned to a future that you would never imagined. " For thought...
I have never been especially interested in art, but since one of my friends started to paint, it is with joy that I admire his works in exhibitions and galleries! Doing photo there and then post them on facebook or instagram, it makes him some publicity so it's even better. The theme of his last exhibition was "optical illusions" and it was really exciting, so much so that I thought I should share it with you! I remember an old man I met on a business trip in Spain, who made paintings with 3D effects on the pavement. It was so awesome, especially since it was enough to shift a meter to lose this effect of realism! Type "optical illusion street art" and you'll see a bit of what you'll fall! Coming back to the exhibition, it was really beautiful. There were even holograms, which seemed so realistic!
You were sooo many to ask me about my trip to Stockholm ! We were able to try lots of unusual activities, frankly it was so exciting and constructive! We took a jet from Bangkok to Stockholm, and the trip lasted a little over nine hours. We arrived there at eight o'clock (local time), and we directly went to the hotel to drop off our things (for those interested I put the link of the hotel where we we stayed, excellent service, beautiful suites and all of the highest quality : http://www.fivestaralliance.com/luxury-hotels/stockholm/nobis-hotel-stockholm)
After that we went clubbing in a really trendy bar called Rose. A veryyyy good night. The next day we made an aerial tour of Stockholm: we rented a private helicopter! It was really incredible. At noon we ate in a small restaurant two stars, then visit a little the old town and some museums. We also went to see the biggest market of the city, to taste some specialities. This allowed us to make beautiful encounters! Well, it was a great trip that we enjoyed very much. If you have some interesting experiences to share with us, you're welcome !
I'm currently testing new sports, and yesterday one of my friends took me to try boxing! Actually it wasn't really boxe, it was a kinda special sport inspired of wrestling. I enjoyed it very much, caus' I looove discovering new sports ! By the way if you have suggestions to give me I'll take them ! I'm in a kinda "discovery phase" so I'm open to anything.
So let me tell you my experience : we arrived early in the morning, and from our arrival Garn gave me gloves and explained me with the help of a master some basic catches. Without wanting to brag I still fared rather well! Some tips if you want to start wrestling : Make sure you eat in the morning (salted if possible) because you spend a lot of energy, and need to have reserves. Take comfortable clothes and listen well to what the master will tell you caus' it's a sport that is very dangerous!
